Lido resort was built in 1935 as a resting place of the dutch, Antonius johanes ludoficus maria zwijsen. he was born on january 5th 1898 in den bosch, holland. his parent owned a windmill factory. the Zwijsen family moved to belgium after a fire accident that happened in their factory.
